JEAN HOGG

As an artist-filmmaker, I work across filmmaking, including directing drama and documentaries. I am also a multidisciplinary installation, photography, sculpture, and digital media artist. 

As a director, I am known for my experience with children and contributors who are not used to being on camera. I create supportive environments where everyone feels comfortable delivering their best and most natural performance.  

I learnt my craft watching directors as an assistant director for TV and high-end shorts. I  then studied an MA in TV Drama at Goldsmiths, London. I have made award winning short dramas, along with corporate productions. Recently, I have been back in the world of TV Shadow Directing on Coronation Street. 

I have over twenty years of experience as a community artist working in film and the arts, along with ten years experience in the social care sector.
